Sprint Wholesale CPE Fraud DetectSM regularly monitors your customers' dedicated lines and selected customer premises equipment (CPE) to detect potentially fraudulent calling patterns.

CPE Fraud Detect is available in conjunction with our offerings that are most vulnerable to abuse, Outbound Voice and Toll-free services.

Fraud can occur when a customer's PBX, voice mail system, automated attendant, or call diverter is used by outsiders to make unauthorized long-distance calls, usually to international destinations. Sprint Wholesale CPE Fraud Detect monitors all outbound traffic with international termination as well as inbound toll-free extension traffic, whether domestic or international origination. When suspect activity is found, Sprint provides the notification you need to help your customer take prompt corrective action. Monitoring is performed with the same state-of-the-art systems used by Sprint Corporate Security.
