Access/Transport

Sprint provides a wide range of access options in the U.S. and throughout the world, including:

Sprint Dedicated Internet Access — connections to Sprint Network-based IP VPN service at speeds ranging 56K to DS3.
Sprint Dial Internet Access — facilitates access speeds ranging from 56K (analog) to 128K (ISDN) for remote users in over 150 countries around the world.
Sprint DSL Access — SDSL speeds range of up to 1.5M, ADSL speeds up to 1.5M downstream and 384K upstream.
Non-Sprint Access — Users of other Internet service providers can also securely connect to your Sprint IP VPN using an approved Sprint IP VPN client (some restrictions apply).

Hardware

Sprint provides leading-edge customer premise equipment (CPE) from Cisco and Nortel Networks to support your IP VPN. A robust selection of VPN devices provides you with the flexibility and scalability to expand your networks, users, customers, and partners whenever you want. Our CPE-based IP VPN offering also includes options on routers, CSU/DSUs, firewalls, and authentication servers (such as those for RADIUS and security tokens). Sprint Managed IP VPN Services offer installation, configuration, management, and maintenance support for your network. Round-the-clock, real-time network monitoring and proactive network performance management provide the assurance that your network is operating at its best at all times. Sprint provides 4 levels of IP VPN Management support that are designed to provide as much or as little management as customers need. Sprint's IP VPN Select Management Services consist of the following components and cost of the 4 levels of management from Economy to Enhanced varies based on the following parameters:

Guaranteed access, guaranteed performance

While Sprint designs IP VPN solutions using the best in products and technology for your unique needs, we back all access with superior guarantees covering service and support.

IP VPN Backbone availability guarantee — Sprint guarantees 100% availability for customers with Enhanced Broadband Metropolitan Area Network (BMAN) access or a 99.9% availability guarantee for customers with BMAN or traditional access. Sprint also guarantees 100% network availability to customers who provide their own access.
IP VPN Backbone delay guarantee — Sprint guarantees a monthly average delay of less than or equal to 55 ms roundtrip. For frame relay, we guarantee end-to-end delay varying from 55-130 ms, depending on access speed and class of service.
IP VPN Dial busy-free guarantee — Sprint guarantees a minimum 99.0% busy-free dial access or Sprint will credit you 10% of your monthly dedicated intranet port fee.
IP VPN Packet Loss guarantee — Sprint guarantees a maximum of 0.1% packet loss for IP VPN traffic on its IP Backbone network.
