Managed CSU/DSU

With managed CSU/DSU service you can exploit the potential of your network equipment without investing in sophisticated network management tools. Businesses with as few as five sites can benefit from the service, and it's transport independent. That means if you inherit multiple networks from multiple carriers in a merger or acquisition, Sprint can manage those devices, too.

Two service levels

You can choose between two service levels, based on your business needs. Both levels go beyond the existing Sprint Frame RelaySM and Sprint ATMSM reporting and monitoring services by providing asset management and proactive notification of up/down status.

Level One service

  • Installation and initialization of intelligent CSUs/DSUs
  • Project management for service deployment
  • Proactive WAN monitoring and alarm notification
  • Trouble isolation and tracking to resolution
  • Automatic dispatch to maintenance/transport provider
  • Validation of service level agreements (SLAs)1

Level Two service

  • Incorporates all the Level One features
  • Performance reporting for capacity planning, including link layer reports, access channel usage reports, congestion reports, network protocol activity, Visual Burst Advisor, and executive level reports
  • End-to-end validation of SLAs for availability, throughput and roundtrip delay
  • Near real-time reports on device availability, response time, and asset management2
