Step 1: Select Email Protection Services options to meet your needs

Once you have decided to experience the benefits of Email Protection Services, please contact a Sprint representative who will consult with you about your business requirements and begin the sign-up process. During the consultation, you may be asked questions like:

  • Who are the business and technical contacts for your organization?
  • Does your company have its own mail server? If not, please check with your service provider to determine your ability to use their services if your Mail Exchange (MX) record) is redirected. NOTE: Sprint Email Protection Services requires that your MX record be directed to Sprint; therefore, if a third party is hosting your email, you may not be able to use this service.
  • Who is responsible for the DNS for your company's domains? NOTE: The person with DNS authority will need to make changes to your MX record. Required information about the MX record will be provided when your service is implemented.
  • How many unique users does your email system support?
  • What is the monthly volume of your inbound and outbound email?
  • What virus screening and spam blocking services do you currently have?

After gathering the appropriate information, the representative will work with you to select the right services to meet your needs. Once the appropriate forms are completed and signed, the services are ordered and an implementation date can be scheduled in a matter of days.

Step 2: Implement your services
