Sprint MessageLine® Voicemail

The professional voicemail solution that keeps you connected.

Small businesses need to project the same professional image as larger businesses with sophisticated communications and voicemail systems. Missed calls can mean missed sales, so you need to have your phones answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, even when your business is closed. And your employees need to be able to receive messages, even when they're traveling.

Relax. You're only a few steps away from making your business communications more manageable. With convenient, easy-to-use Sprint MessageLine Voicemail, you can enjoy the benefits of total accessibility. When you can't answer your calls, let Sprint MessageLine be your receptionist. It's reliable, accurate and will always let you know when you have a message waiting.

Options

Services and options that work for you.

Sprint MessageLine has two standard services:

1. Message Waiting. The mailbox is your main telephone number.

2. Direct Dial. The mailbox is a separate phone number.

Both Message Waiting and Direct Dial have three service options to choose from: Basic, Elite and Connections. Select the option that best fits your business needs.

  • Basic. This service offers up to 100 basic mailboxes.
  • Elite. Doubles greeting length, message length, message capacity and message storage.
  • Connections. Enables callers to reach specific individuals or departments. Callers reach the Host mailbox, which prompts them to select from a menu of options. Each option, or extension, is a separate mailbox that accepts messages. One host and two extensions come standard with Connections service. You may add up to seven additional extensions.

Standard Capabilities

Stutter Dial Tone. A broken dial tone indicates a new message has been received. It does not affect making or receiving calls. Available with Message Waiting only.

Visual Message Waiting Indicator. A lighted indicator on select telephones indicates a new message has been received. Available with Message Waiting only.

Messaging. You can exchange messages with another mailbox served out of the same message center while in your own mailbox. Forward messages to another MessageLine user, send a new message to another MessageLine mailbox, or reply to a message sent by another MessageLine user.

Voice Prompts. MessageLine prompts you with a courtesy tutorial anytime you pause for a few seconds.

Undeleted Message Key. This feature allows you to retrieve messages you have unintentionally deleted.

Messaging Addressing Options. MessageLine gives your callers four options: Request Message Receipt, Mark a Message Urgent, Mark a Message Confidential and Mark a Message for Future Delivery.

Distribution List. With a distribution list of your co-workers' mailbox numbers, you won't have to make multiple calls to transmit a message to several people. Available with Elite Mailbox only.

Message Length. Basic and Connections services record standard messages up to 2 minutes. Elite service stores up to 4 minutes.

Greeting Length. Basic and Connections services allows a 1-minute personalized greeting. Elite service allows 2 minutes.

Message Storage. Basic and Connections services store 15 messages. New messages can be stored for 10 days; saved messages can be stored for 5 days. Elite service doubles storage capabilities.

Optional Capabilities

Pager Alert. MessageLine's pager alert pages you every 30 minutes, up to 4 times or until you check new messages.

Conditional Greetings. This option allows you to record one primary and three different conditional greetings for different situations -- to indicate whether you are on another call, away from your phone for a few minutes or out for the day.

Additional Limits. This option doubles the capacity and retention of an Elite Mailbox. Message capacity: 60. Message retention: 40 days new/20 days saved.

Shadow Mailbox. This mailbox is designed to capture calls that come in on secondary lines while the primary business line is in use.

Rotational Mailbox. This mailbox has the capacity of two Elite mailboxes, both with Additional Limits added. It has 4 times the message capacity of an Elite mailbox and 2 times the message retention days.

Features & Benefits

The simple way to keep in touch.

Flexible.
When you're away from your desk or busy with another call, Sprint MessageLine Voicemail greets your callers with a personalized message that you can change as often as you like. So if you're out for the day or just away at a quick meeting, you can let callers know when they can expect your return call.

Easy.
With Sprint MessageLine, commands for functions are tied to alphabetic letters on the keypad, so they are easy to remember. A push of the button allows you to perform commands from any touch-tone phone, and a friendly voice guides you through a simple message delivery and retrieval process.

Accessible.
You and your employees can access messages from a touch-tone phone anytime, anywhere.

Dependable.
Because Sprint MessageLine is based out of Sprint's Central Office, you can rely on our system to continue to take messages even during the most adverse situations -- power outages, lightning strikes, floods or fires. This is a key advantage over premises-based voicemail equipment.

Compatible.
If your business uses Sprint Basic Telephone Service, Key, PBX or Centrex services, you can still look to MessageLine Voicemail as a user-friendly, cost-effective alternative to more expensive Integrated Voice Response (IVR) systems.

Confidential.
Your privacy is guaranteed. Just set your own private security passcode to retrieve your messages.
