The Future of Centrex
Do you have multiple locations that need to function
seamlessly? Are your phone lines being blocked when
you try to make a call? Are you tired of worrying about
or maintaining your telephone system? Then you should
know about Sprint Centrex.
What is Centrex?
Centrex is a voice communication service that directs
calls through switches located at Sprint's central office
instead of through a switching system located on customer
premises such as PBX
or Key
system. With Sprint Centrex, you have immediate
access to a wide variety of features, ranging from the
standard to the highly sophisticated, with a minimal
up-front investment.
You also don't have to worry about complex machinery
occupying office space. The only equipment you'll need
is a phone or attendant console. You may even be able
to use a standard telephone, depending on the kind of
features you need: standard phones work well with basic
features, while more sophisticated ones require a Meridian
Business Set (MBS) telephone. You can purchase equipment
from Sprint or, if eligible, lease it.
